was engaged by Telekom Malaysia to develop a line test system
that uses Harris and Hwa-Wei remote terminal units. The
system allows line test to be conducted at any exchange
in Malaysia from any Telekom offices. By combining test
results, predictive fault algorithm and customer profile
information, Telekom is able to perform pre-fault maintenance
activities, therefore reducing customer complaints.
